英語段落講解：Recall to active duty

　　若有戰(zhàn)，召發(fā)回!

　　我想，這可能是只有中國前軍人才會發(fā)出的如此鏗鏘有力的豪言壯語：若有戰(zhàn)，召必回!

　　英語體驗在先：在我們習慣性地問“若有戰(zhàn)，召必回用英語怎么說?”之前，我們還是先做做英語體驗吧，先進到英語環(huán)境中體驗英語，然后考慮其它問題。

　　我們“體驗”以下英語片段：

　　MacArthur was recalled to active duty in 1941 as commander of United States Army Forces in the Far East. 　　或許大家是第一次接觸到英語表達recall to active duty，那么文中出現的這個was recalled to active duty是什么“軍事用語/英語”呢?

　　原來它指的就是：

　　a retired soldier or a former soldier will return or go back or is called back into active military service before being deployed for combats.

　　Or we will say after a soldier gets out of the military, the military can mobilize and call him back into active duty or active service

　　能說出這樣的英語，積累下面的“語料”：

　　這段英語說的大概意思是：麥克阿瑟1941年被部隊召回成為現役軍人，職務是美國三軍總司令，駐扎地是遠東。一系列的災難隨后發(fā)生了：開始時是他的空軍受到重創(chuàng)作，時間1941年12月8日，接著日本人對菲律賓發(fā)動入侵。麥將的三軍不久被迫撤退到Bataan地區(qū)。
