1、S: The elephant has a long nose. It has big ears. It has a shorttail. It is (so)big. 教師引導(dǎo)學生將這些句子用and連接在一起，并帶讀：Look at the elephant, It’s so big. It has along nose and a short tail. It has small eyes and big ears.
2、再次播放Let’s talk 部分的教學錄音，讓學生跟讀對話中的句子，模仿發(fā)音，要求自然生動。

教學目標：1.能聽、說、認讀幾個形容詞tall fat thin short。
2.聽懂含有形容詞的幾個指令，并按指令做動作。
教學重點：1.能聽、說、認讀幾個形容詞tall fat thin short。
2.聽懂含有形容詞的幾個指令，并按指令做動作。
教學難點：聽懂含有形容詞的幾個指令，并按指令做動作。
1、出示圖片，教師說：You will see a beautiful picture. Look at it carefully and tell us:What’s in it?/What are they?
2、教師快速展示系列動物圖片：giraffe, monkey,
3、學生根據(jù)看到的圖片說說動物單詞。培養(yǎng)觀察力和記憶力。
4、繼續(xù)展示圖片：兩只長頸鹿，對比他們的大小
T: What are they?They are giraffes. Oh, Look! This is very tall. But that is very short. 教師強調(diào)tall 和 short。
5、同樣出事猴子圖片，比較胖瘦，引出單詞，教師領(lǐng)讀學生跟讀學習單詞; 教師也可關(guān)閉聲音, 讓學生看動畫讀單詞。
6、播放Let’s learn 部分的錄音，學生單詞跟讀。
7、教師將Let’s learn 部分的單詞卡舉起，帶讀，學生以“開火車”的形式練習。如果可能，可以讓學生拼讀單詞。如：t-a-l-l,tall.
8、 教師播放 Let’s do 部分的錄音，學生邊聽邊說邊做此部分的活動。
9、 教師使用Let’s do 部分的動作圖卡，讓學生看圖說圖卡上畫的是什么動物做的動作。

第三課時
教學內(nèi)容：Let's spell
教學目標：1、Let’s spell 本部分通過listen,repeatand chant 達到對單詞拼寫的練習 2、Circle 圈出聽到的單詞。write,練習書寫四個簡單單詞。
教學重點：1. 通過listen,repeat and chant 達到對單詞拼寫的練習。
2. 練習書寫四個簡單單詞。
教學難點：讓學生體會字母e的發(fā)音，能夠獨立拼讀簡單的含有字母e的單詞。
(一) 1、播放Let’s spell的錄音，讓學生聽歌謠。
2、讓學生跟著動畫學說歌謠，同時可用手打節(jié)奏。
(二)1、播放Let’s circle的錄音,讓學生圈出正確的單詞。
聽音后反復(fù)讀四個單詞，在此基礎(chǔ)上進行描紅，達到書寫格式正確的目的。
(三)當堂訓(xùn)練
看誰拿得快
出示磁卡，讓學生拿圖片，拿的快的積分。計算最后結(jié)果，給與優(yōu)勝小組獎勵。

教學內(nèi)容：B、Let's learn Let’s do
教學目標：能聽、說、認讀幾個形容詞small, big, long, short。聽懂含有形容詞的幾個指令;并按指令做動作。單詞small 中[l] 的發(fā)音。
教學重點：1.能聽、說、認讀幾個形容詞small, big, long, short。
2.聽懂含有形容詞的幾個指令;
教學難點：并按指令做動作。單詞small 中[l] 的發(fā)音。

教學難點：have 和 has 的對比和運用。
1、教師為學生播放本單元第一課時的教學錄音，復(fù)習單詞big, short, small, tall。
2、了解so 的用法。 so 在句子中的意思是：“強調(diào)某種程度”。
3、教師出示單詞卡片或?qū)嵨飳Ρ鹊姆椒ǎ俅握J讀并復(fù)習表示大小、長短的單詞big, long, short, small, tall。
4、根據(jù)學生對課件的記憶以及平日生活中的觀察，讓學生說說大象的眼睛、鼻子以及整體的樣子。

2、能夠準確完成Start to read和Let’s check的內(nèi)容。
教學難點：了解Story time部分故事內(nèi)容，能夠聽懂、會說，分角色表演故事。
1、放Start to read部分的錄音，學生畫出正確的句子。
2、做書上Let’s check檢查學習情況。
3、學習Let’s sing 和Storytime
4、做活動手冊上相應(yīng)的練習。
5、課外活動(Add-activities)
6、將學會的國家名字說給家長聽。

1、全體學生按節(jié)奏拍手，拍兩下手掌拍兩下膝蓋。教師吧1-3單元的單詞卡片按照節(jié)奏規(guī)律掛到黑板上，學生拍兩下手掌是說出單詞，在拍兩下膝蓋作為停頓;然后繼續(xù)拍兩下手掌說出下一個單詞，以此類推。
T: Let’s play the game: Clapping the words. Clap your hands and then clap your knees. Follow me please.
2、教師引導(dǎo)學生吧黑板上的單詞卡片進行分類，每一組找一類單詞。
國家名：the UK, Canada,the USA, China
家庭成員：grandfather/grandpa,grandmother/grandma, father/dad, mother/mum, brother, sister

3. 整體看圖閱讀，復(fù)習打招呼和介紹朋友認識的用語。
(1)引導(dǎo)學生看課本插圖，教師提出問題，組織學生討論：

1、聽音找音素。教師每說出三個單詞，學生聽音找出相同的音素;復(fù)習三年級上冊學過的字母與音素的歌謠。
